Okay, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7FP1kgtD8U .
And then ask yourself, “What are the implications for me personally?” Or how about, “What are the implications for the church?” Or maybe the colloquial, “What would Jesus do?”
Exciting and scarry shift . . .
Almost unfathomable… and yet God is GREATER!!
I’m not even sure “shift” is the right word now. Of course, this blog wouldn’t have been nearly as amusing without using “shift.” The word shift sounds too subtle for what is happening but we’re probably only going to realize that it wasn’t subtle looking back wondering what happened. Will the church be ready? Not unless most of us get out of our comfort zones.
History is definitely full of “shift” – thank God.
If you would have tried to convince me as a child that in my lifetime I would walk around with a tiny wireless thing with a blinking blue light perched on my ear talking to whomever while I drove or shopped or walked…
I agree that as the world “changes” “shifts” “grows” or whatever the right word is, the best way to touch hearts with the LOVE that IS God is from right out in the middle of the people Jesus came for. Let’s face it, Jesus did not do life wrapped up clean and pretty and separated from the “un-godly world”.
