We had our Pirate and Princess weekend at RiverTree this past weekend.  Really a lot of fun.  Studied through Jesus’ words, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”  Lots of kids and adults dressed as pirates and princesses.

Sunday morning I was struck by the fact that a pirate was serving me communion.  A bit uncomfortable when a pirate collected my offering :-)

Couldn’t help but think that Jesus loves pirates!  In fact, that’s exactly who He came for.  Jesus, a friend of pirates and sinners . . .
