This past week Julie and I spent several days in Boulder, Colorado with an amazing man named Pete Richardson.  We were specifically in Boulder for a very intense session of Lifemapping.

After two nine hour days of looking at God’s work in our lives, discovering patterns, envisioning the future and putting together an action plan, we returned home refreshed, reinvigorated and ready to rock the world for God’s Kingdom.

So, in a nutshell, I discovered (and had further affirmed) that, “I exist to ignite a passion in people about Jesus that catalyzes change for God’s Kingdom both now and forever!”

This life passion will happen in a variety of contexts:  leading the RiverTree movement (I am more convinced than ever that the local church is God’s chosen instrument of transformation), networking with other leaders who share a similar fire, being involved in third-world poverty (this keeps my own fire lit), and casting vision for what God’s Kingdom is all about.

One of the avenues that is open to me to cast vision is through writing.  As you may have noticed I’ve been absent from blogging for quite some time.  So, I’m back–with a new passion.  My prayer is that my writing will convey the heart of God through my heart and that the fire that burns brightly in me will ignite and join with God’s fire alight in you.  And that together a movement will begin that will transform this world now and forever . . . in Jesus’ name . . . Amen.
