We recently began a six week teaching experience at RiverTree that we titled:  Planting Missional Life.  This series is the culmination of several years of work that God has been doing in the life of our leadership and the heart of His church.  It is also the launch of a new way to do life and ministry.  As we begin this journey, I have never felt closer to the heart of God about the direction to which He is calling us.

In week one of this series I lay a foundation for “why” the way we do church in the United States MUST come to a necessary end.  And though necessary endings can be challenging and even downright painful, they are also times of great opportunity and excitement.  This teaching is simply titled, “God Moved Into The Neighborhood” (Eugene Peterson’s translation of John 1:14).
