This past weekend my kids, Tabitha and Elijah, spent the night with my in-laws, Dominic and Linda. Dom and Linda are Catholic so they took Tabs and ElJ to Saturday evening mass with them. Turns out that an older gentleman at the service took a liking to them and before the mass began gave them each one dollar.
In the service it was time for the offering to be collected. When the plate was passed Tabitha gave both the dollar that had been given to her and also ElJ’s (He’s only two). My father-in-law was recounting the story and exclaimed, “Greg and Julie must be doing something right!”
