On January 23rd, 2011, I and nine other climbers, will begin 6 days of mountain climbing in the mountains surrounding Quito, Ecuador—the Andes. We will climb a total of 4 mountains, with the highest being Mount Cotopaxi, which is the world’s tallest active volcano at 19,347 feet. The last 5,000 vertical feet of the climb will be over the world’s largest equatorial glacier! The total vertical ascent of our climbing endeavor for the 6-day/4-summit ascents comes to 15,756 feet.
Climbing4Kids partners with organizations that are ministering on the front lines in the countries we climb in. For this climb, we are raising funds for Compassion International and ChildReach Ministries, both of which are deeply involved with caring for kids on the margins in Ecuador. Please check out the C4K web site at www.climbing4kids.org.
I am asking you to partner with me. Would you please consider sponsoring me on this climb with a donation for every foot ascended?

I will do my very best to make it to the top of every mountain. Thank-you for partnering with me, Climbing4Kids and for the children in Jesus’ name.
