Greg Nettle
President of Stadia • Speaker & Author • Podcast Host • Visionary • Adventurer
Greg’s passion for the Church was ignited early. At just 23 years old, with more heart than experience, he packed up and planted his first church in Dublin, Ireland. That leap of faith launched a lifelong calling to see churches multiply and communities transformed.
For 25 years, Greg led the RiverTree Movement in Ohio, guiding it from a small congregation of 100 to a vibrant church family of more than 3,000. Along the way, he helped start 50 new churches—each one a story of risk, courage, and Gospel hope.
Today, Greg serves as President of Stadia, a church-planting organization that helps leaders start healthy churches with strong foundations. Under his leadership, Stadia has grown from supporting a handful of planters to helping launch hundreds of new churches each year—each one uniquely equipped to reach the next generation.
But Greg’s passion for church planting is rooted in something deeper: a fierce belief that every child deserves a church. That conviction has taken him to mountain summits around the world—Everest Basecamp, Kilimanjaro, Cotopaxi, and Whitney—where he’s climbed to raise awareness and support for children at spiritual and physical risk.
Greg is also a speaker, consultant, and the co-author of Small Matters, One Of, and Disciples Who Make Disciples He hosts The Church Planting Podcast, where he interviews innovative leaders who are shaping the future of the Church.
At home, Greg is a husband to Julie, a dad to Tabitha and Elijah, and a devoted amateur chef who finds joy in feeding people—whether around a table or through the Gospel.
